Like all things in life, the PhD experience will definitely be better when the candidate is better supported.
As I am writing this reflection on the first day returning to the lab, I am thinking what should I be looking forward to 2021. There is still a lot of work to be done, before I could compile my work into a thesis for submission. The uncertainty does worry me a little, as the the fifth wave of pandemic hits.
This is the same workshop which I attended in 2016 when I was a second year undergraduate, where I started learning about the world of bioinformatics. Fast forward to three years later, I am returning to the same workshop, this time as a teaching instructor.
